Hi, I'm Sarah!

​

I have been drawing and painting ever since I was a young child. 

 

My artwork is an amalgamation of my years of study, training and self-taught methods. I love working with all types of media, including pastel, watercolor, acrylics, and especially oil paint & digital painting. (I use an iPad, Apple Pencil and Procreate).​ I generally work from photographs with a focus on expressive realism.

By day, I am a Program Director for a children's art studio. I have 20+ years of fine art training, and a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design/Visual Communication (GDVC).​

I live in Los Angeles, CA with my husband and two pets:

• Coco, the world's most adorable toy Aussie

• Kenny, a 20+ year old box turtle

• Matcha, a baby blue crown conure parrot who is the cutest, cuddliest parrot ever!

It is my goal to bring forth a sense of joy and wonder every time I paint something, and I hope those feelings can be shared with others as well!
